Fun Facts About Sanitas Brewing

Sanitas Brewing Company has been making beer for almost a decade, and they’re doing really cool things in Boulder. Before we take a look at what tasty beers you can enjoy in March at Oakwell Beer Spa, let’s check out some fun facts about Sanitas.

Michael Memsic and Chris Coyne started brainstorming Sanitas long ago, hustling by day and brewing by night while owls watched over them. This is how their owl mascot was born!
Today, Sanitas Brewing Company is made up of bold, spirited, and adventurous individuals who work together to create tasty beverages for their customers to enjoy.
Many Boulder locals know the brewery for their tagline: Building community through patios and pints.

Mexican Lager, 4.9% ABV, 6 IBU If you’re looking for a refreshing, easy-drinking beer, you’ll love the Bandito Mexican Lager. This tasty, crisp beer is brewed with roasted tortilla chips from Boulder’s McDevitt Taco Supply. How cool!

Can I really drink beer during my spa treatments?

Definitely! When you arrive, you’ll get a double-wall, insulated, stainless steel tumbler to use in the taproom and in your Beer Therapy™ Room. These special, customized cups keep your beverage chilled while you hang out and enjoy your spa treatments. The only place we ask that our visitors don’t take their beverages is in the Relaxation Lounge, where the Zero Gravity Massage chairs are. In your Beer Therapy™ Room, there’s a robe and slippers for you in case you need to fill your tumbler back up. We also have a ring bell system if you’d like us to refill your drink for you.

What spa services do you offer anyways?

Oakwell Beer Spa isn’t like other day spas. Not only do we serve craft beverages, but we also offer unique spa treatments: Beer Bath Hydrotherapy, Infrared Sauna, and Zero Gravity Massage chairs. Learn all about our amazing spa services here!

How does the self-serve beer wall work?

Our self-serve beer wall offers an exciting taproom experience, and all you have to do is follow these simple steps:

When you arrive at Oakwell Beer Spa, you’ll get a card that unlocks all the taps on the beverage wall.
You can check out our rotating selection of local beer, wine, and cider. Each one shows tasting notes and the price per ounce.
Select your drink, scan your card, and pour as much or little as you’d like.
When you’re ready to check out, take your card to the reception desk to pay for the ounces you poured.

Can I just stop by for a beer without a spa treatment?

Of course you can! We love for anyone to stop by and enjoy a drink in our cozy taproom.

Does Oakwell Beer Spa have anything else to drink besides beer?

Yes! We know that beer isn’t everyone’s thing, or sometimes you’re just up for something else. No worries because we also have cider, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages like kombucha and tea.

Can I hang out in the taproom before and after my treatments?

Absolutely! Our taproom is a comfortable oasis, and we welcome all visitors to stay as long as they’d like. Hang out with friends, relax with a book, or enjoy a date with your loved one.
